Vancouver, B.C. Tour, April 3rd – 6th, 2014

VancouverBC Header
From April 3rd to April 6th, Union’s Chamber, Select Treble, and Select Men’s choirs travelled to Vancouver, B.C. in Canada.

The choirs stopped along the way for a brief choral exchange with Ballard High School in Seattle, then continued across the international border to meet choirs from Evergreen, Heritage, and Mountain View High Schools in Vancouver, B.C..  An amazing choral exchange and workshop with Dr. Graeme Langager, director of UBC Choirs, was held at the beautiful Chan Centre for Performing Arts on the University of British Columbia campus.  While there, Dr. Langager paid some very large praise to the parents, teachers, and the Evergreen School District for having such great choral programs.

The choirs were later treated to a fantastic concert by the UBC choirs and orchestra, a harbor cruise, and a trip to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park before returning home.

Of course, other “shenanigans” were also had, but you’ll have to wait for the tour video at the end of the final concert 😉
